Community guidelines
A few ground rules that keep this a useful, trustworthy place for everyone.
When you submit something
- Be accurate. Share what you know firsthand or can point to a source for.
- Only send photos you have the right to share. If you didn't take it, tell us who did.
- Respect privacy. Don't send home addresses, phone numbers or photos of private individuals without their permission. Don't identify minors in sensitive situations.
- No accusations without facts. We won't publish claims that someone committed a crime unless they come from an official source such as a law enforcement agency or court record.
- No hate, harassment or threats. Ever.
What we won't publish
Spam, scams, political attack content, personal disputes, unverified rumors, graphic images, and anything illegal. We may edit submissions for length, clarity and accuracy.
In the Facebook Group
The same spirit applies: be a good neighbor, disagree respectfully, and help each other out. Group admins may remove posts or members that don't follow the group rules.
