Calendar feed & data

Use our local events and directory on your own calendar, website or app — free, as long as you credit us.

Subscribe to the events calendar

Add this address to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook as a subscribed calendar (sometimes called "From URL" or "Add by link"). New and changed events appear automatically.

Want only one kind of event? Add ?category=festivals (or sports, family, church-community and so on — see the category list).

The public API

Everything below is read-only, returns JSON, needs no key, and works from a web page or app.

AddressWhat you get
/api/v1/eventsUpcoming events. Options: from and to (dates like 2026-10-24), category, q (search), page, per_page (max 100).
/api/v1/events/{slug}One event.
/api/v1/businessesDirectory listings. Options: category, q, page, per_page.
/api/v1/categoriesCategory names and slugs. Option: type = event or business.
/api/v1/alertsCommunity alerts that are live right now.

Try it: https://staging.fsunfiltered.com/api/v1/events?per_page=5

fetch('https://staging.fsunfiltered.com/api/v1/events?category=festivals')
  .then(r => r.json())
  .then(({ data }) => data.forEach(e => console.log(e.start, e.title)));

Our one request: credit us

Show "Franklin & Southampton Unfiltered" next to anything you display and link to the event's or business's own page (every item includes a url). Each event also carries a source when it came from another organizer — please keep that credit too. Don't present the data as your own, and keep it reasonably up to date (the feed refreshes every few minutes; cancelled events are marked cancelled).

What's shared, and what isn't

  • Only information that's already public on the website: published events, directory listings, and live alerts.
  • No drafts, submissions, private notes, or personal contact details.
  • Directory listings that were pulled in from public map data or member lists aren't re-shared until the owner claims them.
  • Events we collected from other organizations' calendars aren't re-shared; they belong to those organizers. Please go to the organizer's own calendar for those.

Fair use

Limit: 120 requests per minute per address, and responses can be cached for a few minutes. If you need more, or want something added, tell us — we'd love to hear what you're building for the community.
